    great breakfast
    friendly service
    noisy atmosphere
    old decor

No nonsense – just the truth

Sadly, the stay was dampened by noisy family rooms above and an underwhelming bathroom situation. The old decor feels more tired than charming. While breakfast was a highlight, the inconsistent WiFi and limited accessibility to staff overshadowed the charm of this place. A truly mixed experience overall.

    cozy, cozy, cozy

I was absolutely enchanted by the unique blend of antique furniture and modern amenities that created such a warm atmosphere. The breakfast experience was extraordinary, especially with homemade pancakes and creatively presented dishes that made each morning feel special. The bar’s extensive collection of craft gins is a must-try, providing a delightful treat after a long day.

    buffet breakfast
    calm atmosphere
    outdoor seating

We enjoyed our time at this lovely guesthouse. The buffet breakfast was a standout, especially the prepared fruits. The atmosphere is calm, with gentle classical music playing, which made it easy for our teen kids to unwind after a busy day exploring.

In my wife’s opinion, an outdoor seating area would be delightful.

The location was fantastic, set back from the bustling center yet just a short walk to the seafront. Our room, the Victorian Four-Poster Room, was cozy and beautifully decorated, adding a unique charm to our stay. The breakfast was a true highlight, featuring homemade items that made each morning delightful.

The walk back from town was a bit steep, which might be challenging for some.
